We recently discovered that Garrett loves to hang out on his changing table. He will sit there and coo and goo, making noises, smiling, and just be a content little baby. And it is a really nice feeling to know that all the trouble it took to get that changing table painted and cleaned up was worth it. We had it in our garage for over a year collecting dust and cobwebs. When we found out we were expecting, I started the long process of cleaning, sanding, and painting it. We had everything from spilled paint on our carpet to multiple trips to Home Depot to get replacement shelve boards. I spent several late nights painting this changing table trying to get it ready. And now to know that the hard work has paid off and to see Garrett enjoy it.... well, watch for yourself:
It's fun to see him start to make eye contact and start to smile more. It's fun to hear his noises, to feel him squeeze your finger in his tiny hand. It's an incredible feeling to hold him in your arms and have him look back at you, wiggle a little, and then smile. It really is fun to be a dad.

He is so cute. I just like to watch it over and over again.
Hey Trishy, He is so cute! I can't believe how big he is now! I need to come see you!!! Soon, maybe in the next two weeks we can line it up. When do you go back to school?? love you!
That is one of Jackson's favorite places too. He loves to get his diaper changed, and goes crazy kicking and moving.
