Happy Father's Day!

I know that I could go on and on and on about how wonderful of a father that Colin is to our son. I also, could post a MILLION pictures of he and Garrett from the past year too. But mostly I just wanted to tell Colin how much I appreciate the daddy he is to our son. He takes such good care of us and loves his boy more than anything! It is fun to see them laugh, play with toys, read books, play the piano, "work" outside, eat, and so much more! I remember one of the first times I really knew I was going to marry Colin was when I saw him playing with his cousins. He had a big group of kids ranging in ages from 4-10 outside playing soccer with him. After soccer they went inside and played games. I knew when I watched him that he was going to be an awesome dad! I can't believe that we have now celebrated TWO "real" father's days for him! He is an amazing dad and I feel so lucky that our kids have him to look up to! I know that Garrett loves his dad so much from the way he looks at him, smiles when he is around, and gets excited when he comes home from work. Today I was trying to get Garrett to say, "Happy Father's Day." We started one word at a time.......

Me: say happy
Garrett: starts to clap his hands (for the actions to the song, "If you're happy and you know it!")
Me: say father's
Garrett: folds his arms (to pray, you start with "Dear Heavenly Father")
Me: say day
Garrett: "DAY!!!!"

Colin and I were laughing soooo hard! WE sure love this kid!!!!!!!!
