Well, I am about 13 weeks now. This last few weeks have gone by fast....especially since I am already getting ready to go back to school! I am feeling better everyday. My "all-day" sickness is fading. I still have my moments and they are mostly in the evenings. The most fun is when Colin makes me a nice dinner and I get almost all the way done and have to run to the bathroom only to lose it all! I'll have to say, Colin has definitely been patient with all that has gone on. I feel lucky to feel as well as I do....it definitely could be worse!
So, these last few weeks have been fun to tell family and friends about the big news. I have been a little hesitant to tell some, and I don't know why. It is fun to have a big secret, and it is not that I don't love attention! Pretty soon, there will be no HIDING it. The belly will tell all. As you can see by this beautiful profile picture, Colin wants to take a picture of me each month to show the progress of the growing baby. Cheesy, but cute. He also thinks that I shouldn't have to buy any maternity clothes until my belly is bigger than his!! ha ha ha So, he measured me and I only have about 3 more inches to go!! I am fitting into my clothes still, so I don't think I'll have to worry about that for at least a few more weeks!
The doctor said at our next appointment, if the baby cooperates, he can tell us if it is a boy or a girl!!! Our baby will be the third grandchild on each side. Also, there is boy and girl on each side. So, no matter what the "flavor" (as Colin loves to say) it will have a close cousin to play with! Colin really wants a girl...."there needs to be more little Trish's in the world!" We both would be really happy whatever the outcome as long as it is healthy! I just hope that our baby has the Lewis cheeks! :)
