Holiday Memories

This Christmas was sure a lot of fun! Children sure bring a lot of happiness especially around the holidays! We feel really blessed to have Garrett! He definitely took an interest in Christmas this year! He constantly talked about the tree with lights, and the "star up high". He sat on Santa's lap twice, went sledding, ate his first candy cane and frosted and decorated cookies with his cousins. He accompanied me on most of my shopping trips and when I told him in the car that we were going to the store, he would say loudly, "TOYS!" On that particular day we were actually going to Barnes and Noble and so I replied, "BOOKS!" Well, we went back and forth until we were both laughing hysterically! So, now when one of us says either of those words, no matter where we are or what we are doing, we go back and forth until we stop in laughter! I love this kid! He wasn't scared of Santa because he gave him candy! Whenever we asked what Santa said, he would say, "HO HO......CANDY?!"
